OIB plans launch in Q1 next year Sharen Kaur

- ORIENTAL

Interest Bhd (OIB) will launch Rumah Selangorku apartments within its flagship project in Puncak Alam in the first quarter of 2019.

Sales and marketing general manager Wendy Lim said there will be three types of product offering — Type B priced at RM100,000, Type C at RM180,000 and Type D at RM220,000.

“They are open to first-time house buyers in Selangor earning between RM3,000 and RM10,000. Other requirements do apply,” said Lim.

The apartments will be built at Myra Alam, OIB’s RM300 million residential project on 14.36ha land.

Myra Alam will have 223 units of terraced houses, 364 condominiums and 394 Rumah Selangorku apartments.

The whole project is expected to be completed by 2023.

Lim said OIB will launch Phase 2 of Myra Alam in the second or third quarter of next year.

Phase 1 was unveiled in June with slightly over 40 per cent of its units having been sold. It consists of houses with built-ups of 1,542 to 1,865 sqft, priced from RM475,000.

Lim said there will be bigger homes in Phase 2 than those in Phase 1.

“The double-storey terraced homes will have built-ups of more than 2,000 sq ft and will be priced at about RM500,000. Once we have hit 70 to 80 per cent sales for Phase 1, we will launch Phase 2.”

She said OIB may consider a semifurnished option, especially for firsttime buyers, as an effort to help ease their move-in or setup cost.

Phase 3 of Myra Alam, which will offer premium houses, will be launched after Phase 2 has achieved 70 to 80 per cent sales, said Lim.

“Phase 3 is the most premium offering where units are facing green spaces, landscape and parks.”

On the concept of Myra Alam, Lim said: “We’ve looked at beautifying the area as a whole, with the use of iconic hardscapes and undulating landscapes to create an unusual and captivating feel.

“We’ve also incorporated greenery and planter boxes into the facade of every home, something that we feel many terrace homes nowadays lack. But, of course, we have also added the practical bits, like a jogging track, futsal court, and play area.”
