AWARDED for having the most number of swimming pools in a resort by the Malaysia Book of Records, Grand Lexis Port Dickson in Negri Sembilan is a resort that one can visit more than once.

With a private pool in each of its 317 Baliinspired villas, guests at the five-star resort get more than just exclusivity and luxury. They get to enjoy true peace, tranquility and rejuvenation too.

Linked by spacious boardwalks, the villas command a scenic view of the Straits of Melaka, and one can see the lapping waves underneath solid glass panels fixed in all pool villas.

Apart from the Deluxe Pool Villa that has one king-sized bed and the Sky Pool Grand Villa with three king-sized beds, all the other villas feature two king-sized beds that can accommodate four adults comfortably.

Large LCD TV with DVD player, deluxe coffee and teamaking facilities, mini bar, microwave oven, cutlery and crockery are just some of the standard amenities in each villa.

There are four restaurants — the all-day dining Duyung Restaurant, Lanun Bar, Pool Cafe and Gen Japanese Restaurant.

For recreation, there is the beautifully landscaped swimming pool, a dedicated children’s pool and a sandy area ideal for beach soccer, volleyball, inflatable rock climbing or teambuilding exercises.

For total indulgence, head for Lex Spa at Level 2 of the Tower Block. It uses Pevonia Botanica, a prestigious spa treatment line for men and women. Prize: 2D/1N stay in a Premium Pool Villa at Grand Lexis Port Dickson (worth RM2,400)
