MUKHRIZ HEADS KELANTAN AWARDS LIST
602 to be honoured
KEDAH Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir heads a list of 602 recipients of state awards and medals in conjunction with Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V’s 49th birthday today.
State Secretary Datuk Nazran Muhammad said Mukhriz was among three recipients of the Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SJMK), which carries the title Datuk.
He said the other two are Kota Baru member of parliament Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan and Rohm Wako Corporation chairman Datuk Yosuke Yoshioka.
Nazran said Regent of Kelantan Dr Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra would present the award at the investiture at Istana Balai Besar here.
He said the investiture would be separated into two days, with 205 recipients receiving their awards today and the others on March 4.
He said two firefighters who drowned looking for a teenager in Puchong, Selangor, on Oct 3, would receive the Pingat Bakti (PB).
They were Izatul Akma Wan Ibrahim and Muhammad Hifdzul Malik Shaari.
Air Force chief General Tan Sri Affendi Buang is the sole recipient of the Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (SPKK), which carries the title Datuk.
Among those who will receive the Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (SPSK) award, which carries the title Datuk, are Shah Alam High Court judges Datuk Azman Husin and Datuk Mohd Yazid Mustafa.
Universiti Malaysia Kelantan Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Husaini Omar, Wildlife and National Parks Department director-general Datuk Abdul Kadir Abu Hashim and Bukit Aman management deputy director Datuk Zainal Abu are among five who will receive the Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DPMK), which carries the title Datuk.
Six will be awarded the Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK), which carries the title Datuk. They include Kelantan executive councillor Azami Mohd Nor and Ulama committee member Abdul Hayei Abdul Sukor.
Fifteen will get the Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK), which carries the title Datuk. They include Kelantan finance officer Ahmad Robert Abd Rahim, former Kelantan Malaysian AntiCorruption Commission director Datuk Moh Samsudin Yusof and Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital director Dr Selasawati Ghazali.
Customs Department deputy director-general Dr Zulkefli Ibrahim, Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department deputy director (strategic planning) Senior Assistant Commissioner Rusli Mohd Noor and Penang deputy police chief Datuk Roslee Chik will get the Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (DPJK), which carries the title Datuk.
