SIRIM Quality Award 2018

AS SIRIM Bhd‘s annual signature event, the best organisations are again recognised as the recipients of SIRM Quality Award 2018.

With the objective of giving formal recognition to clients who have achieved high level of excellence in quality management systems in various sectors, the award will, at the same time, raise awareness and trigger a wave of quality consciousness among organisations and industries.

It is also aimed at bringing value to loyal customers as well as a platform for winning organisations to participate in national quality awards.

This year, the award is focused on SIRIM Quality Award for Organisation.

SIRIM Quality Award winners will receive incentives for using the award logo for publicity and promotional purposes for a period of three years, as well as a trophy and certificate.

For SIRIM Quality Award 2018, three companies or organisations have been identified as the winner in three categories — Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Category; Government Category and Multinational Company Government Linked Company (GLC) Category.

The working committees on organisation reviewed, evaluated and shortlisted the companies or organisations based on the current customers database.

The companies or organisations were evaluated based on criteria established by SIRIM.

The proposed winners of each category were recommended by the Working Committee and endorsed by the Technical Committee on October 29.

SIRIM Quality Award winners will be honoured at the Majlis SIRIM Industri 2018 (MSI 2018) in Putrajaya Mariott, IOI Resort City, today.
