Anwar: PH inherited rotten system from BN

-

PETALING JAYA: PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reminded MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong that Pakatan Harapan inherited a “rotten system” from BN.

Anwar was responding to Wee’s speech at the MCA annual general meeting yesterday, in which the latter claimed that the PH administration was a “stumbling block to the people’s pursuit of happiness” as it knew little about how to run the country.

“Of course, I dispute the position taken by Wee because we inherited such a rotten system, with institutions of government failing. So it is a major task,” online news portal Malaysiakini reported him as saying.

Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad’s book, 9 May 2018: Notes from the Frontline.

He said PH, under the leadership of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, gave the people a renewed sense of confidence.

This, he added, was achieved despite the coalition being in power for just six months and being hindered by numerous obstacles.
