FIRST Ja Rule and now Sean Kingston — Bang Bang is set to go bigger than ever before this year. Cementing its status as one of the region’s leading party destinations, the clubbers’ haven in Marina Square, Singapore, kicks off the year with an international performance like no other.

Pushing the boundaries of nightlife entertainment once again, Bang Bang is now bringing Jamaican-American reggae fusion singer and rapper, Sean Kingston, to Singapore on Jan 26 for an exclusive performance.

With three Teen Choice Awards, a Mobo Award and an MTV Music Video Award in his armoury, the globally acclaimed superstar has opened at the world tours of Beyonce, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.

Now, for one night only, Kingston brings his energetic showcase to the Bang Bang stage, performing his smash hit singles, Fire Burning and Beautiful Girls, both tracks which have dominated radio waves and online platforms over recent years.

The singer who was born Kisean Anderson on Feb 3, 1990 in Miami, the US, grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, after moving there at the age of 6. His stage name pays homage to the Jamaican capital city.

His most famous single Beautiful Girls is based on the bass line and lyrical “association” of the 1961 hit Stand By Me by American singer Ben E. King. It reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and topped the UK Singles Chart.

Kingston is also famous for his hit song Me Love, a loose derivative work of Led Zeppelin’s D’yer Mak’er, from the rock group’s 1973 album Houses Of The Holy.

Kingston’s other hit songs include Take You There, I’m Eighteen and There’s Nothin, featuring The Dey and Juelz Santana.

He has also sang duets with Natasha Bedingfield (Love Like This), Fergie (Big Girls Don’t Cry), Baby Bash (What Is It),

(That’s Gangsta) and Flo Rida (Roll).

Kingston boasts 1.6 million subscribers for YouTube, five million monthly listeners on Spotify and 2.2 million followers on Soundcloud.

With unrivalled state-of-art acoustic sound and lighting technology, Bang Bang puts the fun back into clubbing.

Playful, larger than life performances, shared VIP tables, C02 guns and high energy DJ performances create a one-ofa-kind nightlife experience.
