Pot­boy aims to triple rev­enue in 2019

PE­TAL­ING JAYA: Pot­boy Gro­ceries, a home­grown on­line gro­ceries plat­form, aims to triple its rev­enue to RM150 mil­lion this year, driven by the ex­pan­sion of its busi­ness through­out Penin­su­lar Malaysia.

PB Gro­cery Group Sdn Bhd chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer and founder Ed­die Chew Chun Liang said due to the grow­ing de­mand from con­sumers, the com­pany would ex­pand to other ma­jor cities, in­clud­ing Johor Baru, Melaka, Ipoh and Pe­nang.

PB Gro­cery is the owner and op­er­a­tor of Pot­boy Gro­ceries, which op­er­ates only in the Klang Val­ley now.

“Be­sides ex­pand­ing ge­o­graph­i­cally this year, we will also ex­pand in terms of in­creas­ing the num­ber of prod­ucts on our plat­form, in­clud­ing qual­ity gro­cery items from Thai­land, Ja­pan and Tai­wan,” said Chew.
