Body found dumped un­der bridge

KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a man was found dumped at the park­ing lot un­der the bridge near Pasar Pudu off Jalan Yew here yes­ter­day.

Dang Wangi deputy po­lice chief Su­per­in­ten­dent Rudy Ab­dul­lah said the vic­tim, in his 30s, was found near a rub­bish pile un­der the bridge.

He said the man, be­lieved to be a for­eigner, was wear­ing a grey shirt and blue jeans.

No iden­ti­fi­ca­tion doc­u­ments were found.

Rudy said the vic­tim was be­lieved to have been mur­dered at an­other lo­ca­tion as no blood­stains were found at the scene and on the vic­tim’s clothes.

“Checks on the body found one of his right toes was bro­ken, bruises on his left eye and left ribs, as well as wounds on his back.”

He said the case had been clas­si­fied as mur­der un­der Sec­tion 302 of the Pe­nal Code.

The body has been taken to Kuala Lumpur Hos­pi­tal for a post-mortem.
