SENDOK UPBEAT

Firm banks on new 4S centre in Kuantan to become strong player in east coast

-

KLANG-BASED Sendok Group is positive on sales of Sinotruk heavyduty trucks in Malaysia, especially in the east coast, within the next few years.

The optimism is on the back of the company’s strong dealership and collaboration with China state-owned truck manufacturer China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co Ltd (Sinotruk Group) and TTS Engineering Sdn Bhd, a well-established truck solutions provider based in Kuantan, Pahang.

Sendok Group managing director Gwee Bok Wee said with the opening of the Sinotruk 4S (sales, service, spare parts and spray paint) facility in Kuantan last month, the company aimed to be a strong commercial vehicle player in the east coast.

“Kuantan has always been a vital hub for this region, with many projects happening in this area, such as the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park development.

“We foresee the demand for quality commercial vehicles will continue to grow,” he said at the 4S centre official launch.

Gwee said Sendok Group was positive on its partnership with TTS for the 4S centre.

TTS was known for delivering fast, accurate and convenient services to customers in the region, he said.

The centre, the first 4S centre for Sendok in the east coast, has a 7,000-sq-ft workshop area, supported by a 4,200-sq-ft warehouse for spare parts.

A mobile unit for onsite servicing is also stationed at the centre for fast truck maintenance and spare parts delivery to customers.
