Perlis given Feb 15 deadline

- Azharie Farah

Malaysian Football League (MFL) have asked Premier League side Perlis to submit their financial report by Feb 15.

MFL chief executive Kevin Ramalingam claimed that he met PFA president Datuk Ahmad Amizal Shaifit Ahmad Rafie in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday to get a clearer picture of the issues faced by the club.

“We have given them until Feb 15 to submit their financial report, and from there, we will present it to our board,” said Kevin in a press statement yesterday.

MFL have also asked other teams with problems to submit their financial reports for the next course of action.

“We are always in touch with teams. We want to keep tabs with their problems especially clubs who are being managed by new people.

“As for PFA, they are aware of what they must do to settle their problems,” Kevin added.

On Wednesday, sources claimed that PFA have not paid salaries to players since they joined the team last month.

Yesterday, all players except Badhri Radzi reported for training at Universiti Malaya.
