FAM come down hard on six errant teams

M-League teams have been ordered by the FA of Malaysia (FAM) to settle a total of RM1.97 million in arrears to their players and staff.

The concerned teams are Felda United, Terengganu City, Hanelang, Police, Perlis and Kuantan FA. They have to settle the arrears within 30 days or risk further punishment from the national body.

Super League side Felda will have to settle a total of RM1.33 million to six players — Shukor Adan (RM390,681.90), Wan Zack Haikal Wan Nor (RM278,223.60), Ahmad Syamim Yahya (RM259,591.20), Hadin Azman (RM193,000), Farizal Harun (RM167,491.40) and Azreen Zulkafali (RM38,930.70).

If the club fail to do so, the total amount will be deducted from their annual incentive (RM3 million) and deposit.

Terengganu City, who have been barred from the Premier League, was ordered to pay RM239,000 to 10 players and one official.

Those who made the claim were Jasmir Mehat (RM16,000), Lee Yong Cheng (RM16,000), Zahier Abu Sahit (RM12,000), Dzaiddin Zainuddin (RM20,000), Hafiszuan Salehuddin (RM20,000), Rahizi Rasib (RM24,000), Sabri Adam (RM24,000), Reeshafiq Alwi (RM21,000), Rusmanizam Roseland (RM18,000) and Shafuan Adli Shaari (RM20,000), and former official Anuar Jusoh (RM48,000).

FAM will deduct their prize money and deposit to pay them if the club fail to settle the bill.

Hanelang, who have been disbanded, owe a total of RM224,000 to four former coaching staff and one player.

They are Ahmad Yusoff (RM105,000), Iftiqar Ahmad Termizi (RM27,000), Syed Azla Syed Muhamad (RM30,000), Tengku Alias Tengku Ibrahim (RM48,000) and Reeshafiq Alwi (RM14,000).

As for Police, the Premier League side were ordered to pay Hazrol Ahamed (RM24,000), Fazil Abd Rahim (RM24,000) and Khalid Jamlus (RM42,000).

Perlis and Kuantan were also told to pay a total of RM52,000 and RM39,000 respective­ly to their former players and staff.
