Johor MB: I will make a statement
SEGAMAT: “I will make a statement.”
This was the brief response from Menteri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian to questions surrounding his educational qualifications.
He, however, did not elaborate when and where he would make the statement.
He was met by the media after launching the publicity and public engagement programme for the Segamat Local Plan Draft 2030 at Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Abdullah here. Osman’s academic qualification came into question after a Facebook group Ops Johor alleged that he had not obtained a degree from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (now Universiti Putra Malaysia).
According to the state government website, Osman is listed as having a diploma and degree in accounting from UPM as well as a certificate in accounting from Metro Manila College in the Philippines.
