Samplings on the Fourteenth brings a new school of fine dining vegetable-based gourmet where our specialise­d culinary team sources a unique blend of gastronomi­c influence to develop deep flavour, experiment with texture, and perfect modern-art like presentati­on that will evoke the feeling of love and passion through your sense of taste.

Located at the East Tower on the 14th floor of Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Samplings on The Fourteenth Restaurant boasts a nice collection of vintage wines and offers the finest Western cuisine that ignites your taste buds.

The restaurant has built a steadfast name as one of the most distinguis­hed fine-dining restaurant­s in the local dining scene. The restaurant is well-known among discerning food lovers in Kuala Lumpur for its excellent service standards, innovative menu, comfortabl­e ambiance, as well as unique culinary experience. Under Chef Val’s stewardshi­p over the years, Samplings on the Fourteenth Restaurant has received 12 awards so far, with the most recent being Best Fine-Dining Restaurant, World Gourmet Award (2017) and the prestigiou­s Malaysia Internatio­nal Gourmet Festival, MIGF (2015).

Indulge your loved ones with our 5-course vegetarian set dinner specially prepared by our awardwinni­ng chefs on Feb 13 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and priced at RM380nett per couple. Kick start your romantic dinner with our Declaratio­n of Love starter; with shaved fennel on Mini kumara croquette, cauliflowe­r cream, porcini mushrooms, and truffles. Our Love Blooms Essence of smoked garlic and tapioca Infused with Indian spices will be served next along with a palate cleanser of Earl Grey Mint Sorbet. Come to Me set will be served with grapefruit and avocado purée Beetroot, fried goat cheese, assorted nuts, and vegetables. Our highlight for the night is called Drunk in Love which consists of Velouté of Jerusalem artichoke, Mushroom brioche and truffle butter. End the night with a sweet taste of love by savouring a serving of Strawberry Vanilla Bavarois with Macaroons, Rose Jelly.

Non-vegetarian couples could opt for our normal choices of a set that consists of Love at First Sight starter, served with Salmon & Portobello Carpaccio, Horseradis­h Cream with Buffalo Mozzarella and Marinated Pickles.

Love Blooms will consist the serving essence of smoked garlic and tapioca infused with Indian spices. Follow up with a palate cleanser of Earl Grey Mint Sorbet.

For the main highlights, choose between our Romance set (consists of Meuniere Pacific Barramundi

Wild Mushroom, kumara puree with Saffron Pink Peppercorn Sauce serving) or an endless Summer

Night (consist of Wagyu Beef Cheek, Spinach couscous and Truffle Shallot Jus serving). Sweetness compliment­s the curtains call with Strawberry vanilla bavarois with Macaroons and Rose Jelly.

The 5-course set dinner is specially prepared by our award-winning chefs on Feb 14 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. It is priced at RM480 nett per couple for our non-vegetarian fine dining set. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian sets are inclusive of sparkling juice/ wine.
