NEW CAR FOR HEALTH CHALLENGE WINNER

TAN Kim Chan from Ipoh, Perak has been crowned winner of the

Nestle Omega Plus 30 Day Challenge 2018. Tan, who recorded a 50 per cent drop in cholesterol levels in just 30 days, beat 600 other participants nationwide to drive home a brand new Perodua Myvi and Allianz Life Insurance coverage worth RM80,000.

The competition took place from April to September 2018 and was organised in partnership with the National Heart Institute (IJN), Allianz Life Insurance and IJN Foundation.

“I never thought I had high cholesterol. I exercise regularly and keep an active lifestyle, therefore I was under the impression that I had everything under control,” said Tan. His initial cholesterol level was 7.76 mmol/L (normal is a reading below 5.2 mmol/L) before it reduced to 3.88 mmol/L through healthy diet and exercise.
