FOURTH DAY OF HAITI TURMOIL

Haiti experienced its fourth consecutive day of violent protests against the government of President Jovenel Moise, while the international community called for dialogue. At least four people have died since protests began. Faced with extreme poverty and 15 per cent inflation in two years, Haitians were infuriated by a report calling out more than a dozen former ministers and officials for economic mismanagement and possible misappropriation of funds.
