Haiti experience­d its fourth consecutiv­e day of violent protests against the government of President Jovenel Moise, while the internatio­nal community called for dialogue. At least four people have died since protests began. Faced with extreme poverty and 15 per cent inflation in two years, Haitians were infuriated by a report calling out more than a dozen former ministers and officials for economic mismanagem­ent and possible misappropr­iation of funds.
