The nominee for Best Actress managed to turn a simple black floor-length gown into something interesting and beautiful.
She looked gorgeous in a St John’s gown, with bright red lipstick, diamond earrings and a white clutch that complemented her look. IF there is one name that keeps popping up in the best dressed list at this year’s British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) awards, it is Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge, a celebrity in her own right, was stunning in an elegant and flowy white dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.
The feather-trimmed gown with a oneshouldered strap was embellished with white flowers and elegant beading.
She gave the outfit a touch of royal elegance with pearl and diamond drop earrings which once belonged to the late Princess Diana. Her look was completed with glitter court shoes from Jimmy Choo and a white clutch bag.
The Duchess and her husband, Prince William, have been guests of honour at the event since 2017.
William, who looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo, was appointed Bafta’s president in 2010.
Confident in his out-of-the box style, the ‘Beautiful Boy’ actor wore a silk damask printed jacket, tie and shirt by Haider Ackermann. Chalamet, who was an early adopter of the luxury harness, pulled off the look with cropped black trousers with red trim and biker boots. Fashion critics loved the outfit and have already crowned him the winner of the award season style.
At first glance, Ali’s black tuxedo looked ordinary. However, the Tom Ford design had a subtle snake print that gave the actor a dashing and suave look.
Ali’s unique fashion sense is another example why people are calling him the reigning king of cool.
Nothing can go wrong with the classic black tuxedo as men always look dapper in it.
However, Egerton hit the jackpot when he replaced black with an emerald smoking jacket by Giorgio Armani. The actor matched the outfit with a white shirt and a bow tie.
Another actor who switched from silk to velvet suit for the awards ceremony, Evans cut a dapper figure in a navy velvet and back shawl collar Corneliani tuxedo set.
The white pocket square, which matched the white shirt, gave a formal look to the ensemble, making his style impeccable.
