Blige joined other celebrities on the red carpet wearing a white structured suit by Ralph & Russo Spring 2019 Couture.

The suit was paired with a gold belt and a train as well as golden lace draped on one side.

It was another hit-and-miss style because some loved the embellishment but others thought it made the outfit overthe-top. The director’s outfit was probably a hit with some and a miss for others. Lee’s style seemed to clash at Bafta, which is often seen as less glitzy and loud compared to the US awards ceremony.

He walked the red carpet in an eyecatching purple tuxedo, with a purple shirt and beret, paired with gold platform shoes, with BlacKkKlansman, his Baftanominated film, written on the soles.
