Tribute to dad’s old band

STELLA McCartney doing a Beatles collection seems almost unfair, isn’t it? To be the daughter of a member of the Fab Four, ...wouldn’t that mean that she’d be drawing on her personal life experiences with dear ol’ dad, Paul McCartney, and his friends? Stella was actually born a year after the breakup of the Beatles so she wouldn’t have been around to “live” in the Yellow Submarine or “ride” on pink-legged birds and “run” from a flying blue glove in Pepperland. She just gets to use images from the animation film, Yellow Submarine, for her latest Fall collection.

Stella has been doing amazingly well on her own as a fashion designer and people hardly need to put it down to the fatherdaughter connection. She’d have no problems standing up to the villains of Pepperland.
