CHINESE pop diva Na Ying is back. After 17 years, she is returning to Malaysia in the Na Ying World Concert 2019 to celebrate Valentine’s with fans. The three-time Favourite Female Artiste winner in the Mainland China awards delivers unique vocals and explosive stage performances. She is the first singer from Mainland China to stage concerts in Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan and Macau.

Na Ying is considered one of China’s best female singers, having sold more than 10 million copies of her albums. She gained fame with the release of her hit single Conquering in 1998, and her rich alto vocals have captivated audiences across the region. This single also went on to become one of the most popular Chinese songs in history.

Na Ying, who is known for her buoyant and forthright personality, has also been a judge on Chinese television singing contests and reality shows such as The Voice of China, and coached contestants of Sing! China.

Born in Shenyang, Liaoning, in 1967, the ethnic Manchu star first joined the Liaoning Juvenile Broadcasting Chorus in 1979, and the Shenyang Singing and Dancing Troupe in 1983.

She won several national singing contests in the 1980s, and received vocal training from the famous composer Gu Jianfen. Na Ying began her recording career in 1988 in Taiwan and Hong Kong. She released her first album Dreaming With You in 1994, and has nine albums to her credit today.

In the 1998 Spring Festival Gala Show produced by CCTV, Na Ying sang a duet with Faye Wong called Meet In 98 and this became one of the most popular duets of the decade.

Although her 2009 single The Journey Of Love topped the charts that year, her early song Follow Your Instinct is her personal favourite of all time.

Na Ying’s latest album So What? was released in 2011 and reached No.1 on the charts in China and Taiwan.

Her concert here is happening at the Arena Of Stars, Genting Highlands today and tomorrow, and tickets are priced between RM212 to RM912.
