FANS of K-Pop can get their favourite groups and artistes on The Show. Now in its sixth season, the variety music show, which is a weekly series aired live from Seoul, comes exclusively to viewers in the Southeast Asian region via MTV Asia.

Hosted by Jang Ye-eun from CLC and Jeno from NCT and subtitled in English, it allows fans to be in tune with what’s hot in K-Pop. Also featured are performances by the latest chart-toppers and behind the scenes footage of K-Pop artistes.

The Show is aired simultaneously here and in South Korea and local viewers can also be part of the global fan voting process.

“Proud and excited to be the first in Southeast Asia to premiere The Show, we truly believe this is the answer to our fans’ call for all things K-pop. If there’s one thing a K-pop fan needs to tune in to, this is it!” said Abhishek K. Rao, senior director, MTV Brand, Southeast Asia, in a statement.

A unique segment of The Show is its The Show Choice element, a global and realtime voting system where adoring fans can play a part in choosing their top idols via the Starpass app (the idol fandom app is available for download on the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store).

Fans are able to vote before the show and even during the live segments. Past K-Pop groups that have appeared on The Show include hot acts such as Wanna One, IZ*ONE, Monsta X, NCT and Red Velvet.

Don’t miss out and catch The Show with the biggest and best names in K-Pop, every Tuesday at 6pm. Also watch the replays on Sundays at 12am. The Show can also be viewed on the MTV Play app.
