Singapore Airlines Q3 net profit slips 27pc
SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines Ltd on Thursday reported a 27 per cent fall in thirdquarter net profit but beat expectations as revenue growth helped offset higher fuel costs. Singapore Airlines made S$284 million (RM852 million) in the three months ended December 31, down from S$389 million a year earlier. That beat the S$240.2 million expected by analysts. Group revenues rose seven per cent to S$4.34 billion in the third quarter, despite flat average ticket prices as the airline filled a higher percentage of seats.
