Ra­dio spread­ing hap­pi­ness and pros­per­ity with 3 old folks homes

SERI PA­CIFIC HO­TEL KUALA LUMPUR and Traxxfm Ra­dio came to­gether to or­gan­ise a Chi­nese New Year cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity pro­gramme with three homes for the el­derly — Kim Loo Ting, Rumah Kasih and Siri Jayan­thi Metta Old Folks Home. Fifty el­derly peo­ple from th­ese homes were cel­e­brated with a sump­tu­ous din­ner and beau­ti­ful per­for­mances by the Chung Hwa Chi­nese or­ches­tra, which played clas­sic Chi­nese New Year melodies, and Aswara Dance Fac­ulty, which per­formed tra­di­tional Chi­nese dances.

High­lights of the event were

Yee Sang toss­ing with the old folks and rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Seri Pa­cific Ho­tel Kuala Lumpur and TraxxFM Ra­dio. The old folks re­ceived ang pow pack­ets from No­razian Man­sor, direc­tor of sales, on be­half of Seri Pa­cific Ho­tel Kuala Lumpur, and each home was given gro­cery items. The old folks also re­ceived goodie bags dis­trib­uted by Fairuz Mohd Radzi, TraxxFM man­ager. There were also lucky draws to cheer up the old folks.

“Chi­nese New Year CSR is an an­nual event which has been part of the ho­tel’s ef­fort to con­trib­ute back to the un­der­priv­i­leged. Hap­pi­ness and pros­per­ity are things that we should share to give mean­ing to the cel­e­bra­tion,” said Nor­l­iza Ya­haya, mar­ket­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions man­ager of Seri Pa­cific Ho­tel.
