Radio spreading happiness and prosperity with 3 old folks homes

-

SERI PACIFIC HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR and Traxxfm Radio came together to organise a Chinese New Year corporate social responsibility programme with three homes for the elderly — Kim Loo Ting, Rumah Kasih and Siri Jayanthi Metta Old Folks Home. Fifty elderly people from these homes were celebrated with a sumptuous dinner and beautiful performances by the Chung Hwa Chinese orchestra, which played classic Chinese New Year melodies, and Aswara Dance Faculty, which performed traditional Chinese dances.

Highlights of the event were

Yee Sang tossing with the old folks and representatives from Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur and TraxxFM Radio. The old folks received ang pow packets from Norazian Mansor, director of sales, on behalf of Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and each home was given grocery items. The old folks also received goodie bags distributed by Fairuz Mohd Radzi, TraxxFM manager. There were also lucky draws to cheer up the old folks.

“Chinese New Year CSR is an annual event which has been part of the hotel’s effort to contribute back to the underprivileged. Happiness and prosperity are things that we should share to give meaning to the celebration,” said Norliza Yahaya, marketing communications manager of Seri Pacific Hotel.
