4th month of record temps in Australia
SYDNEY: Australia continued a string of “hottest ever” months last month, the government said yesterday, as global warming emerges as the hot button issue with elections weeks away. The Bureau of Meteorology said the country experienced the warmest March on record, with mean maximum and minimum temperatures above average for nearly the whole nation. It said the mean temperature was 2.13°C above the long-term average for March. It was the fourth month of record heat.
