ELECTRIC CARGO BIKE

-

BLIX Electric Bikes has drawn up plans for the Packa electric cargo bike, touted to be the most fully-featured, affordable electric cargo bike available in the market.

Specially built for performance and utility with a smart and stylish design, a single full charge can take you up to 110km at 32km per hour. Sporting 60cm wheels with an easy-to-manoeuvre wheel and a low step-over frame, riders will appreciate the low centre of gravity and easy handling.

The Packa electric cargo bike measures about 200cm, making it slightly larger than a regular bicycle.

Taking the idea of a compact cargo concept, the Packa is incredibly easy to get on and off. A 750-watt motor with dual battery capacity will keep it going, ensuring that you do not need to stop whenever one of the two batteries run out of juice.

In terms of cargo, the Packa is able to carry up to 90kg. The rear rack has a 68kg weight capacity while the front mount will be able to ferry another 22kg.

Available in electric blue and bright white, it comes with seven gears to help you tackle those devilish uphills, five levels of pedal assist when you start to grow weary, and a couple of USB ports that will keep your devices juiced up. The tyres are puncture-resistant to increase the durability of your ride. The display lies on the mount and shows the amount of remaining battery, your current speed, an odometer and other details.

The Packa electric cargo bike will ship in June with a recommended retail price of US$1,700.
