Solskjaer to get tough with Lingard over crude video

LONDON: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will warn Jesse Lingard about social media after the Manchester United player posted a crude video from Miami.

A Snapchat post from a room Lingard shared with Marcus Rashford, sees Lingard swearing and filming a friend simulating sex.

It’s thought it was posted in error.

Meanwhile, former United midfielder Ravel Morrison could play on at Ostersunds FK in Sweden, despite not returning after the mid-season break.

OFK boss Ian Burchnall said: “We are very pleased with Ravel Morrison.”

 A LEYTON Orient defender punched a cinema-goer after he asked him to stop talking during a film, dislocatin­g his shoulder and injuring his eye, a court heard.

Shortly after the latest Avengers film began at a cinema in north London, Steven Durieux asked Orient’s Marvin Ekpiteta and his girlfriend: “Are you going to talk during the whole film?”

Archie Mackay, prosecutin­g, told Blackfriar­s Crown Court that Ekpiteta punched Durieux when the movie finished.

“This was an unprovoked attack,” said Mackay. “Mr Ekpiteta was the aggressor, causing him injury to the eyelid and a dislocated shoulder.”

Ekpiteta denies the charge.

The trial continues.

 OLEKSANDR Zinchenko has signed a three-year contract extension at Manchester City.

The 22-year-old Ukraine internatio­nal rejected moves to Wolves and Real Betis a year ago to fight for his place at City, and played 29 times as Pep Guardiola’s side won a domestic treble.

“This season shows we are built for success,” said Zinchenko.

City may sign Eibar’s 35-yearold keeper Asier Riesgo as backup for Ederson and Claudio Bravo so that Aro Muric and Danny Grimshaw can be loaned out.

 LEAGUE Two newcomers Salford City will host Championsh­ip club Leeds United in the Carabao Cup first round. Salford are in the competitio­n for the first time after promotion from the National League in May. Huddersfie­ld Town, relegated from the Premier League, host League One club Lincoln City.

AFC Wimbledon will also face controvers­ial rivals MK Dons.
