BUSINESS FLEET PROGRAMME TAILORED FOR DAIHATSU GRAN MAX OPERATORS
DAIHATSU Malaysia Sdn Bhd (DMSB) has introduced the Daihatsu Business Fleet Programme to deliver innovative solutions and end-to-end aftersales service to Gran Max owners.
The programme was launched at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2019 and is unique to the Malaysian market.
Managing director of Daihatsu Malaysia, Arman Mahadi, said: “The programme puts a renewal focus on automotive services to better meet the requirements of today’s growing fleets. With the explosive growth of transportation network companies and last mile delivery services, our aim is to drive value through innovation by being the preferred partner of the fleet companies to provide them with the service, vehicles and fleet management they need.”
The benefits of the Business Fleet Programme include sales and service incentives, maintenance service contract, service credit term facilities, driver’s safety training programme as well as accident repair and insurance claims service.
In addition, there’s Daihatsu’s Mobile Service with dedicated on-site vehicle service exclusively for Daihatsu customers without additional charges.
Also included under the programme is extended vehicle warranty service with five-year/100,000km standard
manufacturer warranty for better protection and a peace-of-mind.
The programme will be available to the new Gran Max owners beginning from the first week of August. However, existing customers will also be offered with the programme.
Daihatsu Malaysia also displayed two concepts here at the expo. The first one being Rewilding Roadshow, a community project by the company in partnership with Free Tree Society to encourage urban conservation and the greening of urban spaces.
Another concept was a Gran Max transformed into a fully-functional mobile clinic, as part of DMSB’s support of Columbia Asia Hospital’s initiative to continuously engage with the community to create awareness and foster preventive healthcare management.
The Gran Max commercial vehicles have been around for quite some time now. When asked if any upgrades or refreshment can be expected, Arman said: “The upgrade is in the pipeline.
“The company will also celebrate its 40th anniversary in Malaysia next year.”
