KUANTAN: Aspiring homebuyers and property investors in the east coast can look forward to visiting the New Straits Times Press (NSTP) 2019 MyRumah Property Showcase here next week.

The three-day event, starting Sept 20, features six property developers and three non-developers offering 1,437 units of residential and commercial properties with a total gross development value of RM323 million.

MyRumah, a one-stop platform for property consultation and home purchase, was held in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Johor.

The Kuantan leg of the showcase at the Kuantan City Mall is the first since it was held in 2016.

NSTP advertisement sales agency and corporate advertisement general manager Roche Chew said the showcase, supported by the Housing and Local Government Ministry, featured the 4E concept — education, exhibition, environment and experience — to enrich visitors’ experience.

The showcase caters for Bottom 40 and Middle 40 income groups, including those who plan to buy properties as an investment.

“This showcase is ideal for firsttime homebuyers to purchase their dream homes and those who plan to make future investments. Properties will be priced between RM120,000 and RM1.58 million.”

He said the showcase would provide information on the do’s and don’ts of buying properties, featuring top speakers who would share tips and trends of the property market.

The topics include investing in properties, achieving financial freedom, maximising housing loans and choice of properties in Pahang.

The participating developers are O&C Properties (Kuantan) Sdn Bhd, Selangor State Development Corporation, Terengganu State Economic Development Corporation, Terengganu People’s Housing Consortium Sdn Bhd and UDA Land (east) Sdn Bhd, together with the National Housing Department of the Housing and Local Government Ministry. Representatives of Amanah Raya Bhd, the National Higher Education Fund Corporation and Takaful Ikhlas will be present at the exhibition.

Harian Metro will launch a special pullout focusing on property developers and owners on Sept 20.

Admission to the MyRumah showcase is free and buyers stand to win a Nissan Almera in the grand lucky draw.
