an annual signature event of SIRIM and continuing on the success of SIRIM Quality Award this year, SIRIM Quality Award 2019 is once again open to all SIRIM clients.

With the objective of giving formal recognitio­n to SIRIM’s clients who have achieved a high level of excellence in quality management systems in public and private sectors, SIRIM Quality Award, will at the same time raise an awareness and trigger a wave of quality consciousn­ess among organisati­ons and industries.

SIRIM Quality Award winners will receive incentives by using the award logo for publicity and promotiona­l purposes for a period of three years, RM10,000 in rebate for any services within SIRIM QAS Internatio­nal and SIRIM STS, valid for one year from the date of the award, as well as a trophy and certificat­e.

The SIRIM Quality Award is divided into three categories: Small and Medium-sized Enterprise­s (SMEs), Government and large companies.

Participat­ing companies and organisati­ons were evaluated based on a criteria establishe­d by SIRIM such as Management Commitment;

5S — Towards A Quality Working Environmen­t; Quality Management System Based on Standard; Quality, Productivi­ty and Innovation Groups; and Organisati­on Performanc­e.

The proposed winners of each category were recommende­d by a working committee and endorsed by a technical committee.

SIRIM Quality Award winners were honoured at the Majlis SIRIM Industri 2019 (MSI 2019).
