KING VISITS COOPERATIVE FEST
PUTRAJAYA: Yang di-Pertuan Agong AlSultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah graced the second day of the Cooperative Entrepreneur Carnival here yesterday.
Received on arrival by Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof and Putrajaya Corporation president Datuk Dr Aminuddin Hassim, His Majesty visited stalls and operators.
Al-Sultan Abdullah presented prizes to 9to5 Run Half Marathon winners, which took place yesterday. Some 10,000 runners participated in it, Bernama reported.
Organised by the ministry, the three-day carnival, which began on Friday, featured products and services offered by cooperatives from micro, small, medium and large clusters.
The festival featured BizOpp (Business Opportunity) sessions, which saw founders of household brands, such as The Manhattan Fish Market, Chatime and AlIkhsan Sports, speak about entrepreneurship.
The carnival attracted around 20,000 visitors and made sales of RM150,000.
