Touch ‘n Go eWallet set to grow mobility segment with Easybook tie-up

KUALA LUMPUR: As the leading ewallet in Malaysia, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet continues to grow its mobility segment by partnering with Easybook, the online public transporta­tion booking platform.

The partnershi­p offers the public a convenient and seamless payment method using the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ignatius Ong said Touch ‘n Go eWallet continued to champion mobility by expanding beyond toll payments.

“Our aim is to create inclusivit­y within the transporta­tion ecosystem and with that in mind, this partnershi­p with Easybook is a step in the right direction for us.

“The transporta­tion industry has undergone significan­t changes and we want to facilitate this digital transition with industry players like Easybook.”

Easybook provides ticketing services for various mobility options including bus, train, ferry, car rental and flight booking.

Users of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet can now use the “scan” feature to complete their bookings within Malaysia.

Easybook managing director William Lee said the company was thrilled to be working alongside the leading e-wallet in Malaysia, making transactio­ns with Easybook more convenient.

In conjunctio­n with the partnershi­p, Touch ‘n Go eWallet and Easybook are offering special discounts for select bus routes under its “States Takeover” campaign.

Users can pay using the Touch ‘n Go eWallet for domestic bus bookings made via the Easybook website or app.

Users of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet can make advance bookings for next year and still enjoy the discount, as long the bookings are made during the campaign period.

The States Takeover is the first of many campaigns by the Touch ‘n Go eWallet and Easybook.
