Lay the foundation
how it would look and feel on my face.
Primer is basically used to create a smooth surface on your face so whatever make-up you apply after looks better and lasts longer too. It evens out skin tone so open pores, blemishes, fine lines and other imperfections are kept well-hidden.
Pixy’s face primer comes in a nice little tube and has an incredibly light texture which is great for application, especially for a novice like me. I use just a small amount each time and apply with my fingers and it certainly does the job. It also has moisturising botanical extracts to improve skin and SPF35 and PA ++.
Initially, I found it a tad difficult to blend the primer well and ended up with a rather patchy look on my face. It took some practice but eventually I got it right. It does instantly brighten up the skin, making my face appear fairer but best of all, it can cover the fine lines around my forehead and the open pores on my cheeks, which results in a smooth appearance, something I have never been able to achieve before.
The Make it Glow Dewy Cushion makes foundation application easy and hides imperfections fairly well. I follow through with the Silky Powdery Cake which looks super fine and feels soft on the face.
Both the cushion and powder come in a shade called neutral beige. Although
Pixy’s Make It Glow base make-up lays a good foundation. it’s not a perfect match for my skin tone, I feel it makes my complexion brighter and hides blemishes well. The only downside to using these products daily is that it adds significantly to time spent getting ready but the results are worth the effort.
