Company will work closely with the government to promote tourism
LEXIS Hibiscus Port Dickson expects to attract more local and international guests, particularly from Asia Pacific and the Middle East, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM 2020).
Lexis Hotel Group president Mandy Chew Siok Cheng said the company would work closely with the government to promote the country to discerning leisure and business travellers from FITs (free independent tourists), tour series, corporate and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) segments, both locally and abroad.
“In line with our vision to lead the hospitality industry regionally and internationally, our team will ensure that we deliver a memorable yet unique hospitality experience for international standards, wooing guests to return to our resorts over and over again,” said Chew.

“Though we may be a local chain of hotels, we have made our name internationally and been able to attract about six million guests to the resort over the years from more than 100 countries.
“Today, if you walk in the Streets of Taipei and mentioned Lexis Hibiscus or ‘Hibiscus’ in Mandarin, the people there recognise our hotel,” she added.
Chew said the Lexis Hotel Group brand was elevated after 2016 when Lexis Hibiscus was officially added into the Guiness World of Records for achieving not one, but two records for “the most swimming pools in a resort at 643” and “the most overwater villas in single resort at 552”.
“Winning these awards is a big recognition for the team and we are proud to be associated with the hotel.
