Nestle extends deadline till May 31, adds prizes

KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle Malaysia is extending the “Salary for Life” contest (Peraduan Nestle Gaji Seumur Hidup) to May 31 and adding 300 cash prizes.

Nestle said the contest extension offered five more “Salary for a Year” prizes of RM3,000 for 12 months each, and 200 weekly prizes of RM500 each.

To take part, consumers need to purchase a minimum of RM15 worth of Nestle products in a single receipt and answer a simple question.

Purchases can be made at retail stores or on e-commerce websites such as Lazada and Shopee. Entries can be submitted via WhatsApp or consumers can keep their receipts and submit the entries via post.

Additional­ly, a new prize category has been added, where 100 “Salary for a Month” bonus prizes worth RM3,000 each are up for grabs.

Nestle said in total, 17 “Salary for a Year” winners would stand a chance of winning the two “Salary for Life” grand prizes.

To further support the vulnerable communitie­s affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, each of the 17 finalists will be able to nominate a charity of choice to receive a “Salary for a Year” prize of RM36,000 as a cash contributi­on from Nestle.

For the charities nominated by the two grand prize winners, the award will be doubled to RM72,000.

Nestle has also announced the first six “Salary for a Year” winners.

They are Yong Chong Lei from Perak, Azahari Salleh from Terengganu, Amirrul Hafiz Razak from Pahang, Nor Safiah Tajuddin from Selangor, Khalaaivaa­ney Eramakrish­nan from Negri Sembilan and a woman from Kedah.
