Rosmah’s trial adjourned due to toothache
KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court yesterday vacated the afternoon session of Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s corruption trial after she complained of a toothache.
Her lawyer, Datuk Jagjit Singh, informed judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan that his client needed to see a dentist as she was in pain and appealed for the case to be stood down.
However, Zaini urged Jagjit to finish his cross-examination of a key witness who was giving his testimony and said the court would vacate the afternoon session.
At that time, Rosmah’s former special officer, Datuk Rizal Mansor, 45, was taking the stand as the prosecution’s 21st witness.
He was cross-examined by Jagjit in the morning before the lawyer made the application to adjourn the trial about 11.30am.
Jagjit then continued his crossexamination before the case was adjourned about noon.
