DUCk X LAT

One of the most talked-about fashion collaborations for Merdeka this year is the one between lifestyle brand dUCk and Malaysia’s renowned cartoonist Datuk Mohammad Nor Mohammad Khalid, popularly known as Lat.

The limited edition dUCk x Lat collection has Lat’s signature hand-drawn designs illustrated across various dUCk products such as scarves, lipsticks, pouches, shopping bag, notebook as well as a drinking mug.

According to the brand, the designs are kept to the classic Lat style of black and white drawings “to honour his signature style that the nation has tremendous love for”.

Lat cleverly captures familiar sights andscenes from everyday life in Malaysia such as the idyllic countryside and the bustling market scene. He celebrates the country’s traditions and quirks with a little humour along the way

Fans of the brand can even find characters from The Kampung Boy series featured onthe products. For the first time, malecustomers got dUCKed too, buying mugs and notebooks.
