2 siblings nabbed over spate of break-ins

Two siblings aged 20 and 23 were arrested for allegedly breaking into laundry shops, nurseries and restaurant­s in Sungai Buloh, Gombak and Klang since late last year. Sungai Buloh district police chief Superinten­dent Shafa’aton Abu Bakar said they were arrested during Op Pintu Khas at Kampung Melayu

Sri Kundang in Rawang on Feb 11 and 12. Police seized a Honda EX5 motorcycle, a hammer and a screwdrive­r. The duo were believed to have carried out their activities between 1am and 5am , involving 11 burglaries with losses amounting to RM15,000 in Sungai Buloh, Gombak and Klang. “Both suspects had criminal records and tested positive for methamphet­amine,” she said, adding that they had been remanded.
