Miros holding road safety cartoon contest

The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (Miros), in collaboration with Balai Kartun Rossem, is organising the International Cartoon Competition and Exhibition on Road Safety Malaysia. Miros director-general Dr Khairil Anwar Abu Kassim said the competition, with the theme “Towards Safer Roads”, aimed to provide opportunities for cartoonists from around the globe to share ideas and creativity in conveying a message about road safety. The competition, which runs until March 28, will see the first-, secondand third-place winners receiving RM1,500, RM1,200, and RM1,000 cash, respectively, while three consolation prize winners will take home RM500 each.
