Miros holding road safety cartoon contest


The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (Miros), in collaborat­ion with Balai Kartun Rossem, is organising the Internatio­nal Cartoon Competitio­n and Exhibition on Road Safety Malaysia. Miros director-general Dr Khairil Anwar Abu Kassim said the competitio­n, with the theme “Towards Safer Roads”, aimed to provide opportunit­ies for cartoonist­s from around the globe to share ideas and creativity in conveying a message about road safety. The competitio­n, which runs until March 28, will see the first-, secondand third-place winners receiving RM1,500, RM1,200, and RM1,000 cash, respective­ly, while three consolatio­n prize winners will take home RM500 each.
