DOUBLETree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s all-day dining restaurant, Makan Kitchen, presents “Bazaar Ramadan” buffet dinner to take guests on a culinary journey with Malaysian street-food flavours.

This buffet dinner is part of the nationwide “Chup! Makan Dulu” promotion by Hilton hotels in Malaysia. A classic Malaysian slang, “chup” is synonymous to the word “pause” and is often used to interject someone in a playful and friendly manner. Through this campaign, the brand wishes to remind Malaysians to take a break from their hectic day-to-day and enjoy quality time with their loved ones over a hearty meal at Hilton.

Themed “Bazaar Ramadan”, the buffet rings the bell for street food lovers with numerous classic Ramadan bazaar-style stations dishing out local favourites. Guests can indulge in a wholesome dining experience with a casual and upbeat setting that mimics the atmosphere of an outdoor bazaar, all while being entertaine­d by a live band. Utilising the freshest ingredient­s and aromatic spices, the main highlights include signature staples such as Nasi Ayam, Ayam Penyet, Ikan Bakar Daun Pisang,

Golek, Popiah Basah, Rendang

Peha Kambing, Udang Harimau Masak Lemak Tempoyak, Sup Kawah Meletop and Durian Tempura. Selected items are also available for takeaway and delivery.

Running from April 13-May 12, the Ramadan buffet starts from 6pm to10pm. It is priced at RM148 nett per adult (RM108 nett for early bird bookings made before April 19, 2021) and RM80 nett per child (aged 6-12). A special 25 per cent discount is available for bookings of 20 persons and above. Selected credit card holders and inhouse guests can also enjoy 20 per cent discount on the buffet dinner.
