UiTM students’ Raya exodus starts on Friday

-

Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) will start sending more than 16,000 students from all of its campuses home for Hari Raya Aidilfitri from Friday to May 12. UiTM Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs) yesterday said more than 200 vehicles would be used to send the students from 30 UiTM campuses to their hometowns across the country. The exodus of the students will be supervised by 700 employees to ensure smooth running of the process and full compliance with the standard operating procedures to curb the spread of Covid-19. “For students who chose to stay in campus, UiTM will continue to take care of their welfare and will do its level best so that they will not feel so lonely this Hari Raya Aidilfitri,” it said.
