7 friends proud to get masters together at UMT convocation

KUALA NERUS: Seven friends carved their own sweet memories when they all received their masters together at the 18th Convocation of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu on Monday. The seven were Wan Mohd Wazir Wan Abdul Wahab, 43; Ahmad Nazir Haron, 43; Abdul Rahim Abu Bakar, 39; Tajul Arifin Abd Manan, 45; Mohamad Jazli Shafizan Jaafar, 44; Nordin Abd Rasid, 38 and Mohd Erman Safawie Che Ibrahim, 35. All of them were pioneering graduates of UMT’s Master of Information Technology and Master of Computer Science courses. Wan Wazir said he and his friends worked as information technology officers at the UMT Digital Ecosystem Centre, and they initially did not know they were pursuing their courses together until lessons began.
