SISMA AUTO’S 3S CENTRE OPENS
Firm wants to leverage experience as franchise dealer to offer premium experience to luxury car owners
SISMA Auto (KL) Sdn Bhd has opened the Sisma Auto Hub, a premium multibrand 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre for customers to buy, sell or service any brand of luxury car, at what was previously the Jaguar Land Rover 3S centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
This follows the move by Jaguar Land Rover (M) Sdn Bhd (JLRM), a joint-venture between Sisma Auto and Sime Darby Bhd, to consolidate its retail operations in Malaysia.
Sisma Auto said the move saw the acquisition of dealer assets and transfer of staff from Sime Darby Auto Connexion and Sisma Auto as well as the consolidation of retail operations to Ara Damansara, Selangor, and Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, Penang.
Sisma Auto said while it retained significant interest in the Jaguar Land Rover business as a joint-venture partner in JLRM, it planned to leverage its experience as a franchise dealer for Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo to offer the same premium 3S experience for other luxury car brands.
“We believe that a premium 3S experience should be available to all luxury car owners.
“At Sisma Auto Hub, our highly trained team will provide the same level of exceptional service that you have come to expect from Sisma Auto,” said managing director Syed Khalil Syed Ibrahim.
Sisma Auto also operates two Volvo outlets in Bukit Bintang and Glenmarie, next to Sisma Auto Hub.
Volvo Car Malaysia awarded Sisma Auto the coveted “Dealer of the Year” award in 2020 and last year.
“Sisma Auto aims to continue to grow with the Volvo brand in Malaysia and has started construction of its flagship Volvo 3S facility in Sungai Besi.
“The 50,000 sq ft facility spreads over four floors, and represents a significant expansion of Sisma Auto’s Volvo business,” said the company.
The facility is expected to begin operations at the end of this year.
