Aaron Lee is a fash­ion pho­tog­ra­pher born and raised in Kuala Lumpur. The art and de­sign grad­u­ate be­gan work­ing pro­fes­sion­ally as a pho­tog­ra­pher in 2005 and is recog­nised for his tech­ni­cal knowl­edge, light­ing skills and creative imag­i­na­tion. He es­tab­lished his own stu­dio, Lensworks Pro­duc­tions in 2012 and is a reg­u­lar con­trib­u­tor to fash­ion ed­i­to­ri­als and beauty spreads. His abil­ity to en­hance a brand’s spirit and add his per­sonal touch to his pho­tog­ra­phy has landed him numerous high pro­file celebrity clients in­clud­ing Li Bing­bing and Michelle Reis. We brought Aaron to Tan­jong Jara to snap our newly-wed cov­er­stars.

A com­mer­cial hair stylist with 11 years of ex­pe­ri­ence, Gary Bobs has worked ex­ten­sively in edi­to­rial and ad­ver­tis­ing across mul­ti­ple me­dia in­clud­ing print, web and tele­vi­sion. Rep­re­sent­ing Shawn Cut­ler’s sa­lon, Gary has done many con­cep­tual and edi­to­rial pho­to­shoots for both lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional ti­tles. She cre­ates and im­ple­ments con­cepts and ideas from start to fin­ish. With her dis­ci­plined and or­gan­ised na­ture, Gary is al­ways in high de­mand for most of the tough­est from de­mand­ing clients all around. Gary lent her touch to the cover duo this month.

Alvin Loh started his makeup ca­reer more than 10 years ago. Al­ways pas­sion­ate and pos­sess­ing an eye for de­tails, his work has been fea­tured in Malaysia’s top-sell­ing fash­ion and beauty mag­a­zines. He also has had the priv­i­lege to work with lo­cal de­sign­ers like Alia Bas­ta­man and Afiq M for their cam­paign shoots and a few celebri­ties and per­son­al­i­ties, in­clud­ing Shir Chong. Self-taught pho­tog­ra­pher vin­cent Paul Yong is known for his min­i­mal­ist ap­proach and his abil­ity to con­nect seem­ingly op­po­site el­e­ments. Be it city and na­ture, re­li­gion and vice, vin­tage and modern, preppy and rock etc. He shot our po­lit­i­cal fig­ures, Nik Nazmi and Yeo Bee Yin for this is­sue, in their most nat­u­ral light with a touch of poise.
