max mara celebrates the 10th anniversary of The Cube this year. Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi is one of three collaborators invited to mark this milestone with their unique interpretations of the iconic down jacket housed in a cube. Known for her square-format images lensed with a Rolleiflex, she captures her subject in the last light of day, in an ephemeral reminder that things always begin anew.
