An immersive multi-sensory culinary experience marks the inaugural launch of Fusions by

Club Med

You’ve heard praises sung of the islands of Maldives, where deep navy blue waters fade into a seafoam green palette, white powder sand beaches dominate the undulating shorelines and a myriad of rare marine wildlife call the reefs their home. A tropical paradise made up of nearly 1,200 islands, many have yet to discover the origins of these islands, its genesis rooted firmly in ancient legends and folklores whispered by the locals for decades now.

As a guest of Club Med Finolhu Villas, I check into the resort’s sunrise water villa, opting to spend most of my time whiling the days away at the outdoor patio complete with my own private pool, just footsteps away from the warm azure waters of the Indian Ocean. My butler Ahmed checks in on me occasionally, fussing over breakfast options and itinerary requests. But underwater excursions and luxury travel aside, I’m in the Maldives for the inaugural launch of Fusions by Club Med, the first of its kind to introduce travellers to a multi-sensory fusion experience.
