Levy Li

The Health Advocate

-

Having lost her father to colon cancer, Levy Li found strength to rise above the tragedy and what ensued after was a moment of epiphany. The former Miss Malaysia Universe made a conscious decision to embrace vegetarianism after conducting her own in depth research on the cause and effect of food. This positive change in lifestyle subsequently led Levy to curate and experiment with her own recipes before she embarked on an F&B venture with The Good Co. back in 2016.

“I’ve learned the traits of setting up my own business from a young age and am now advocating Malaysians to lead a healthier diet through my F&B business,” says the entrepreneurial Levy who is now focusing on her second F&B establishment aptly named Good Monster.

A subsidiary of The Good Co., Good Monster opens in Mid Valley Megamall and offers a variety of healthy fare while retaining the familiar flavours of Malaysian comfort food. “It is important for Malaysians to be more aware with the food we consume, on how it is made, the ingredients used and the benefits or disadvantages to our health. I hope that there will be healthier dining options that educate the public on their choice of food intake,” says Levy who aims to be part of this movement. A firm believer that people are the foundation for any business, the entrepreneur hopes to foster a relationship of mutual trust and positive work culture in her company.
