Novem­ber 8-25 TAIPEI GOLDEN HORSE FILM FES­TI­VAL

The largest film fes­ti­val in Tai­wan re­turns for its 55th year, with the awards cer­e­mony held on the 17th. Pay­ing homage to Swedish cin­ema mae­stro Ing­mar Bergman, the fes­ti­val col­lab­o­rates with the Taichung Film De­vel­op­ment Foun­da­tion to present 38 screen­ings of his pro­duc­tions.

Novem­ber 12-17 DUBAI DE­SIGN WEEK

With roughly 230 events such as ex­hi­bi­tions, in­stal­la­tions and work­shops from over 120 com­pa­nies, this is the Mid­dle East’s largest cre­ative fes­ti­val, which is into its fourth year. Held across the Dubai De­sign Dis­trict and the city, the fes­ti­val’s high­lights in­clude the Global Grad Show, which show­cases life-chang­ing in­no­va­tions from grad­u­ates world­wide.

Novem­ber 16-18 MAR­GARET RIVER GOURMET ES­CAPE

Some 45 food and wine events will be held across 25 lo­ca­tions in Western Aus­tralia, bring­ing to­gether world-renowned chefs such as Nigella Law­son, Skye Gyn­gell and Mon­ica Galetti for the fes­ti­val’s 7th edi­tion.
