November 8-25 TAIPEI GOLDEN HORSE FILM FESTIVAL

The largest film festival in Taiwan returns for its 55th year, with the awards ceremony held on the 17th. Paying homage to Swedish cinema maestro Ingmar Bergman, the festival collaborates with the Taichung Film Development Foundation to present 38 screenings of his productions.

November 12-17 DUBAI DESIGN WEEK

With roughly 230 events such as exhibitions, installations and workshops from over 120 companies, this is the Middle East’s largest creative festival, which is into its fourth year. Held across the Dubai Design District and the city, the festival’s highlights include the Global Grad Show, which showcases life-changing innovations from graduates worldwide.

November 16-18 MARGARET RIVER GOURMET ESCAPE

Some 45 food and wine events will be held across 25 locations in Western Australia, bringing together world-renowned chefs such as Nigella Lawson, Skye Gyngell and Monica Galetti for the festival’s 7th edition.
