Urwerk deviates from its signature satellite wandering hours with its brand-new UR-111C, showing off a cylindrical time display with a diagonal slanting linear track flanked by jumping hours and minutes. A helix marker points to the minutes, travelling across the retrograde track as the cylinder makes a complete revolution and rapidly snapping back to zero at the end of every hour. At the top of the watch, the digital seconds feature two tiny wheels simultaneously indicating the seconds in denominations of five. Instead of pulling out a crown, time is set via a long, grooved roller, which can be turned in either direction. Fitted with a new in-house automatic calibre with stop seconds, the watch is available in polished steel and a gunmetal finish, limited to 25 pieces each.
