Year-End Musings

We’ve had quite a year over here at Prestige. It’s been a year of adjustment, a year filled with teary goodbyes to a few from our Prestige family while we embrace new faces to the fold, making room to accommodate our ever-growing family. Though change is an inevitable part of evolution and growth, we are assuredly confident of what Prestige stands for, pledging to remain true to the DNA of the title.

As the year-end draws to a close and our inbox on the verge of exploding from the onslaught of festive invitations (where are those liver pills), this may be a wise time to take a breather and reflect on the year. 2018 has proven that the impossible became possible, as Malaysians have made their voice loud and clear that the time for change has come. While the groundwork for a new foundation is being laid out, our hopes and dreams for the nation are revived. What 2019 will unfold, only time will tell.

Speaking of time, the team were presented with the opportunity to fly in to Beijing and get up close with Corum’s new global brand ambassador Hu Bing. The multi-talented superstar shares an endearing tale of how his first watch represented more than a piece of accessory, it was a symbolic gesture that marked a rite of passage into adulthood.

And as we embark on this journey into the new year, let us strive to be the best version of ourselves and share the festive cheer with someone in need, however big or small.

Enjoy,

Julie Yim | ACTING EDITOR
