Ahead of his first runway show this month, Kris Van Assche issues his Spring/Summer 2019 capsule as the new Artistic Director for Berluti. The brand’s emblematic 18thcentury manuscript motif “Scritto” is now translated as a graphic motif on casual wear and bags. A new “Berluti 1895 Paris” signature is also introduced.
Before his Bottega Veneta debut on the A/W ’19 runway in Milan next month, newly appointed Creative Director Daniel Lee shares a sneak peek into his vision for the house. The Maxi Cabat with 4cm-wide strips is his reinterpretation of the house’s Intrecciato craftsmanship, while The Pouch is an oversized clutch that deviates from the boxy house icon, The Knot minaudière.
