MORE THAN ROYALTY

Constantly defying everyone’s predisposed perceptions of royalty, this year’s Prestige Achievement Award went to none other than Y.A.M Tengku Datin Paduka Setia Zatashah Binti Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the Princess of Selangor herself. In recognition of her efforts and contributions, Tengku Zatashah received an 18k rose gold cuff bracelet set with mother-of-pearl and onyx elements from Bulgari’s Divas’ Dream collection. A beacon of generosity, hope, and humility, Tengku Zatashah has achieved plenty on her own merits, championing both progressiveness and personal accomplishment with over twenty years of experience in the field of corporate communications. An active force for the empowerment of women, she is also the royal patron of the Selangor Symphony Orchestra and Make-A-Wish Malaysia, even volunteering at soup kitchens to distribute food and medical aid to the homeless. In 2017, she was conferred with the Legion d’Honneur, France’s highest distinction, after serving as the current President of the Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur for five years.
